What is DTF?

DTF (Direct-to-Film) is a transfer process where your design is printed onto specialist film using DTF inks, then coated with adhesive powder and heat-cured. During application, heat activates the adhesive and bonds the design securely to the fabric.

DTF Prints transfers are designed to perform across a wide range of materials, delivering vibrant, durable results with a smooth, soft-touch feel. Suitable for cotton, polyester and many blends.

Application Guide

1. Place the transfer onto the garment in the desired position.
2. Heat press for 15 seconds at 150°C.
3. Peel the film hot (immediately) or cold (after cooling).
4. Finish with a second press for 5 seconds using a Teflon sheet (or equivalent) to protect the surface.

Uploading Your Artwork

• Select Start Your Design to open the upload tool.
• Choose your required size — this indicates the maximum printable area.
• Upload your design (for best results, use PNG with a transparent background).
• Scale and position your artwork to your exact print dimensions.
• Review the on-screen size guides carefully — the preview reflects the final print output.
• Confirm and proceed to checkout.

Artwork Responsibility & Returns

By submitting artwork to DTF Prints, you confirm your file is ready to print, including correct sizing, resolution, colours, layout and spelling.

We print designs exactly as supplied. We do not resize, edit, retouch, or apply colour correction.

As each order is custom produced, transfers are non-refundable and non-returnable, unless the fault is caused by us (e.g., misprint, damage, or a confirmed production defect).
